Ok - A bit behind on my blogging techniques. Thought I would shoot a few pictures of the past month's events. Here is a trip to the local Pumpkin Patch with her class mates. This spot is so cute, they have hay rides, a farm area to feed certain farm animals, and of course, a spot to pick out a pumpkin to take home and carve. As always, they had a ton of fun.

These are some pictures from today's visit to a nearby pumkin patch. We went with a friend from daycare that we haven't seen in a bit. His Mom had another baby so he has stopped coming to daycare for the last several few months. We wanted to catch up and see how they were doing. The last picture is of Kendal and Christian checking out the fields to pick out where they wanted to go to find their take home pumpkin. Kendal's outfit is not the best. She was wearing an extremely cute outfit I purchased from my girlfriends store, but the weather went from the low 50's to 80's so we had to adjust and wear our soccer shirt. I on the other hand had to sweat to death all day.

Hurray, at game 4, Kendal decided to start playing a bit. She scored 4 goals. She had so much fun, and still was able to color when it wasn't her turn to play. She and Zoe both had a great time this game. Now everyone on the team has decided to get in the groove.

Groovy Girl

Trying to get Kendal attached to the Groovy Girl collection, so
when shopping in my girlfriends store, I could not pass up this
outfit. She was the coolest girl in the class that day. She is showing
off her Leap Pad Leapster in this picture.

Finally, well it was after the game, but Kendal and Zoe are the 2 on the team that refuse to play throughout the game. Luckily, we were able to talk them into playing after the game was over. Cross your fingers that next week we can get them into the actual game.

Final three pictures from today's art class!

Posted by Picasa

Hi everyone, quite a few pictures today, mainly b/c I couldn't decide which facial expression displayed Kendal's intensity as she was painting, so I thought I would send them all.

The first picture is of our neighbor, Ryan. He and Kendal are quite fond of each other. He has a sister who is 5 and the three of them play so well together. This is a picture of Ryan teaching Kendal how to play a car racing game on the computer.

The next several pictures are from today's trip to the Greek Festival. Kendal wanted to paint a picture at the Children's Art area. In the first shot, she is coloring the canvas, then adding small flowers, then some fill in color. She did a great job with little help. The teachers were there mainly to supply the paint and have the kids learn to paint in stages. Each student picked their own colors and own themes. I just had to send the pictures to show you her facial expressions and the last being her first masterpiece.

Soccer

Well, not the best photo of me in the world, but had to show you Kendal's best soccer position - she isn't enjoying this new sport too much. In the 2 games we have played, she probably has gotten on the field for a total of 45 seconds. We will keep it up for this season, but might hang up the soccer shoes after the final game if she decides this isn't her cup of tea.

Hi,
We had a great weekend going to a family day at the local botanical gardens. A man was creating sketches and Kendal was begging to have one done, so here it is!

Hi,
I do not plan on posting just anything to this blog, but I did think this was important enough to pass along to all my friends...

Hi guys, Finally the party is over. We had Kendal's 4th birthday party today - here are a few picture of the wonderful event. I think all the kids had a great time.

We are now at one of Kendal's favorite friends Nye's birthday party. He had a gymnastic
party similiar to the one we are having today, the 9th. The kids had so much fun. The second picture is a car that Kendal is attempting to ride backwards down this small sliding board. I wish I could have caught a picture at the end of the ride, she wasn't quite as happy has she was in these pictures. The last one displays my little monkey in the making.

Hi, wanted to pass along some of Kendal's first soccer pictures. This is just a practice day. Kendal is on a tykes team through our church, Prince of Peace. There must have been 50 little ones playing in the 3 year old teams. Kendal's birthday fell just shy of being on the 4 year old team, but since she is now height deprived, this works out to her benefit. I'll keep you posted to her progress. She has already told me she doesn't want to play anymore, let's hope that changes since we haven't had one game yet.

Play Time

Ok, this isn't the best picture, but this one turned out better than the others. I wanted to show you guys the kids next door that Kendal has so much fun playing with. I get to double dip and show the patio area. I've kinda made it into a play/casual area.

I had no idea Jamie Lee was so talented. This book is adorable. Kendal had me read this along with the others at least three times the first night. She wanted to say thank you so much for thinking of her on her 4th birthday.

Kendal's 4th Birthday Presents

Kendal wanted to say thank you so much for these books. She had me read the Happy book at least three times the first night. She is also sitting down and writing her letters nightly. These were perfect! Thanks so much.

Well, sorry this is so hard to read, but it is the invitations to Kendal's Birthday party. I printed them and handed them out yesterday. We are excited to have a party at the gymnastic site around the corner - how easy will that be! Wish you guys could be there!Posted by Picasa

Posted by PicasaFinally I was able to hang the last few "framed" pictures that I have. Still have several needing to be framed, but this too will come in time.

This week has been a crazy one. I had 2 flat tires, but learned Alabama has a great free road side service to change tires. The poor guy had to come out in the pouring rain on both days. Luckily, one of the flats was a malfunction, so I only had to pay for one replacement. Later in the week, I learned I have a bit of roof damage. Will find out later this week to what extent, but for now, just hoping and praying for minor repairs.

For other news, Kendal has been doing well on her bike with training wheels, finally getting the hang of slowing down vs completely stopping, but not ready for the training wheels to come off. She was stung by 2 wasp today. It was painful, but no reactions other than a small amount of swelling. Nothing that Bendadryl won't cure.

Hope you guys all have a great week. Leslie
