Posted by PicasaFinally I was able to hang the last few "framed" pictures that I have. Still have several needing to be framed, but this too will come in time.

This week has been a crazy one. I had 2 flat tires, but learned Alabama has a great free road side service to change tires. The poor guy had to come out in the pouring rain on both days. Luckily, one of the flats was a malfunction, so I only had to pay for one replacement. Later in the week, I learned I have a bit of roof damage. Will find out later this week to what extent, but for now, just hoping and praying for minor repairs.

For other news, Kendal has been doing well on her bike with training wheels, finally getting the hang of slowing down vs completely stopping, but not ready for the training wheels to come off. She was stung by 2 wasp today. It was painful, but no reactions other than a small amount of swelling. Nothing that Bendadryl won't cure.

Hope you guys all have a great week. Leslie
Just wanted to show you guys the updated picture of Kendal's room. I knew a change was in order b/c of heat and her room just being too crowded. So, we moved out the large chair, purchased this cute plush smaller version. I choose a purple one hoping to cover Kendal's daily request for a purple room. Walla, the room is now cooler and feels so spacious, and the chair is a big hit.

Kendal's new love. Learning the computer. She is getting great at using a mouse and playing games on noggin, nickjr, and national geographics for kids. She also every now and then says she has to send emails to her friends and just starts typing away, mainly spelling her name, my name, and Hal's name over and over again. I've got the computer set up where she can log onto her own name, click on different icons that she knows which ones are her favorite sites. Typical afternoon play while I'm cooking dinner.

Posted by PicasaKendal was so excited to open her first Holland doll that we received in the mail on Saturday. She immediately wanted all the dolls listed on the back of the box, but is very happy to have this cute one to play with. Thanks to Aunt Wilma and Sarah Anne!

This is my favorite. This backyard was so peaceful any person would want to pay the hourly fee to get to enjoy hanging out in this beautiful yard while watcher their child learn to swim. This is just a small taste of the backyard. The owner of the house has several yoga videos on the market and under the roofed area that you see in the right corner, Ibet she makes some of her videos.

This is something new I am going to attempt. This way I can send you guys current pictures of Kendal and a little bit of what is going on a day to day basis. Wish me luck in figuring this out!
These are a couple of pictures of my backyard after doing a little bit of cleanup work. With the drought situation I haven't done any planting this year, but hopefully next year will be able to add a bit more color to the yard.
